2011-2012 All-Star Games

Sunday, January 22 at the Cooler

A Game -- 8:30am
West 6, East 5
MVP -- Zach Coyne, Lassiter Jr. Maroon, 5 goals and 1 assist, GWG

AA Game -- 9:45am
East 6, West 5 (SO)
MVP -- Landon Sewell, Grayson Jr. Gold, GWG 8th round shootout goal

AAA Game -- 11:00am
East 9, West 7
MVP -- Jason Quill, Snellville, 2 goals and 2 assists, GWG

Player Selection

Reply with player selections by Friday Jan 13th to Bob Dannenbaum bdbaum@comcast.net . Indicate player’s team, first and last name, phone #, parent email, & jersey #.
Use any criteria in selecting players.
Selections per team:

1A – First place team selects 4 skaters. All others select 3 skaters. Each team selects 1 goalie each.
2A – First place team selects 3 skaters. All others select 2 skaters. Top 6 teams select 1 goalie each.
3A – First place team selects 4 skaters. All others select 3 skaters. Each team selects 1 goalie each.

Coaches (including assistants): 1st & 2nd place teams in each division as of Jan 6th. Coaches will be provided a roster with contact info in advance.

Team Format:

Teams will consist of 8 skaters and 2 or 3 goalies. Goalies should play 1 period each or ½ the game.
Players must bring their home and away jersey.
Teams will be divided into East and West. West will wear dark jerseys, East will wear light jerseys. Teams will be posted on www.aarho.com by Wed Jan 18th.
All players will receive AARHO 2012 All-Star tee shirts and a certificate.

Game Format:

Games will be played under the same format & rules as regular season games.
An MVP will be selected from the winning team after each game. MVPs will receive a prize.
Player stats will be posted on Pointstreak.com
