Summer is here, season 9 is coming!

The AARHO Middle School league is looking forward to it's ninth season. Organization begins with school starting, first regular season games in November.

All 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade roller hockey players who are interested in joining, or coaches who are interested in forming a team can contact Bob Dannenbaum or Jeff Gary for information!!

I want some mugshots for Pointstreak! Just take some low resolution head shots of the players and send them to me. It won't take long for them to be uploaded. The kids will love to see their faces. They can be serious head shots, or goofy ones.

If your team has their own website, let me know and I will link it up in the TEAM section. Walton and Woodstock have their own websites and they are linked up in the team section. Go check them out!

REMINDER -- COOLER GAMES
Coaches and team mangers, please remember that when playing games at the Cooler, we need a parent to sit in the penalty box for each team. We need them there because the penalty boxes are separated from the scorekeepers box, so he can't open doors for the kids who may be in the penalty boxes.

MOUTHPIECES
All players need to have mouthpieces ATTACHED to their cages. ALL GOALIES need mouthpieces too. Clear mouthpieces are dangerous if they are lodged in a players throat, we may not see it in there! They must be colored and attached. If a player has an orthodontic one, we need to know ahead of time. We're still having goalies show up without them! They are more at risk for a head injury and should have them, no questions asked.

Know the league rules. League rules are posted on our website. There are specific rules regarding team tryouts and makeup.

Clinics: There will be free clinics for Coaches and Goalies as in seasons past. These are highly beneficial. Stay tuned for announcements and dates. Take advantage.

All 2008-2009 games will be played at Slapshots, SGAA and The Cooler. This is the second season the league will be particiating at the Cooler. We will be playing at Slapshots throughout the year, including All-Stars.
